Mercure Norton Grange Hotel and Spa

The Mercure Norton Grange Hotel & Spa was originally built in 1875 and has been beautifully and imaginatively transformed into a superb hotel. Set in its own grounds with views of the Pennine Hills, the hotel is situated just off junction 20 of the M62 and only 8 miles from Manchester City Centre.

All 81 bedrooms have been decorated to a high standard in modern, contemporary colours, while still maintaining a comfortable and relaxing feel. Along with full en-suite facilities, each room comes equipped with remote control colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board, trouser press, internet access and hairdryer as standard. 24 hour room service is also available, and newspapers and early morning calls can be easily arranged.

Our Spa Naturel Health, Fitness and Beauty Club was added to the hotel in 2005, and boasts an 18 metre indoor pool, indoor/ outdoor hydropool, thermal suite with bio sauna, rock sauna, cold room and aroma steam room, and fully equipped technogym. 6 beauty treatment rooms and a relaxation room complete the fantastic facilities. A full range of treatments, from an eye lash tint to a pamper day, are available in the beauty department using the finest Decléor products.

We are available for a wide range of events, including conferences, private dinners, parties, naming ceremonies, funerals and christenings. As a wedding venue we are licensed for civil ceremonies in all three of our main suites and offer unsurpassed experience in making your wedding day perfect and the hotel’s grounds are the ideal backdrop for your wedding photographs.
